Trump pays Cohen to pay Stormy in October 2016.
Why is this a violation of campaign finance?
Campaign finance is a federal law which means Bragg has no jurisdiction?
SDNY federal prosecutors decided not to prosecute Trump for this supposed infraction.
FEC decided not to fine Trump for this supposed campaign finance violation.
Trump’s crime is at worst a misdemeanor and the statute of limitations expired in NY.
Bragg elevated the misdemeanor to a felony to circumvent expired statute of limitations.
Please comment and correct my mistakes.

I honestly have ignored all this crap and it's very pleasant. Since I rarely practice law any more I don't pay attention to cases in the news. I also have lost all interest in US politics. Sorry I couldn't provide any insight.
I am in the process of taking my CLE courses, since I need to keep my license for reasons having nothing to do with practicing law. I keep hunting around for courses focusing on bitcoin or FOSS. It's surprising how little is out there.

On a more serious matter, no cash bail is not working. Alvin refuses to prosecute violent crimes. He has a sordid history of plea bargaining felonies as misdemeanor
