I'm sorry you had such an experience.
I've read your post just now and it was eye-opening on some parts, I'm still a beginner in both managing Bitcoin and myself but I'm surprised at how much ingrained in ourselves some obvious broken concept and reasoning really are.

No need to sorry. By contrary was an amazing experience. It was also for me a huge eye opening situation when I realized that everything I learned and studied about this stuff, really worked if it is well done.
