For context see this post here
The scam continues to run. It appears the folks that got me all wrapped up in this actually got paid out. Yet for me I still have this fake BTC asset in my coinbase wallet.
Now the site is asking me to send $4k worth of litecoin to an address and then they will “finally pay my withdrawal.”
I know the chances of getting my funds back are lower than 5% but I really want to see what they are doing with these funds.
If I do pay this fee I’ll post the address to this post. And let’s see what the stackers can find. Anyone that provides value I will tip in sats.

No need to pay the entire fee, if this really is a burning desire of yours, you can send any sized UTXO and then start to follow the trail, but there's no guarantee that watching this address will result in data points you can tie to a person though and it may take years for them to slip up.
I would rather you look at the previous addresses you've already interacted with and start your sleuthing there since they might have been more careless in how they transacted knowing they had you in the scam already.
If you can I would try to get addresses of others that have been scammed, the larger the data set the more chance you have of finding patterns and if one of those addresses interact with an exchange account, then you have a possible lead
Having been hacked on an exchange in the past, i went through this myself thinking it would help eventually I got to some rando exchange in Ukraine and they just weren't compliant so I just cut my losses

Thanks! This is very good insight. Honestly I wish we had an authority where plebs can report bad actors of them getting scammed to prevent others from falling victim and to report people who are stealing to law enforcement.

One more thought: If you really, really want to do this (and it sounds like a great way to lose $4K, tbh), looking someone other than SN might be the way to go, simply because you'd want someone really familiar with Litecoin's chain and following the tokens there (especially if in turn they're converting to other assets).

Oh man. I know this might seem an obvious question, but:
It appears the folks that got me all wrapped up in this actually got paid out.
How do you know this? Isn't it possible they're still running the scam on you? Are you sure you want to risk $4k? I'm sure you've heard the old saying, "don't throw good money after bad."
reply
That’s the question. It seems odd that I’m the only one having issues but at the same time it is quite possible they were paid. Like the site told me that the person that referred me was paid. I asked her and she confessed to being paid after the site locked her account down for not paying a “fee” on time.
And the guy I referred was also paid as well. And he was along side of me when we both paid a fee for a payment method that failed.
And this is why I keep throwing good money after bad because the people around me who deal with this site get paid out!!!

One common tool for scammers is to create fake marks -- either folks who had "success" with the thing that's scamming you (the guy who "wins" at three card monte before you lost ten times), or who get "paid back" after the scam somehow. If you really know and trust the guy you referred, this might not be the latter, but otherwise it still sounds super fishy.

Exactly my thought. I honestly doubt anyone got paid out.

Yeah my doubt as well

Maybe it would be more worthwhile trying to track down these clowns?

Yeah that’s what my mission is now. Kind of like a sting.

I already explained how you are getting scammed in the first post.
You already know you’re getting scammed, you’re just too weak stop yourself. I bet you’re a lush in real life also.

You'd be better off by going 50x long on Bitcoin with that money, because that way, you'll at least have a chance at gaining anything from it.
If you send them even more money, they'll most likely ignore or mock you after you've done so, and fuck off.

I'm feeling saucy. Where can we go 50x long on Bitcoin?
