Eagles are great! I really like that song as well as Take it to the Limit. I was very excited when they finally released the official video of the '77 live concert!
My old man had their greatest hits album, and we used to listen to it on long long drives between the south of England and back up to Scotland. And we never got bored of it. Such fantastic musicians.
Fantastic bunch of songs. Some."greatest hits" albums have about 3 good tracks and bunch of filler, but that album was just filled to the brim with great tracks and still didn't have room for all the tracks that's absolutely could have been there. Life in the fast lane? Not on it, but another absolute banger.
They certainly were. I believe I have all of their albums in my collection, and I like to break them out when I'm in the mood for that sound.
I like both them and Linda Ronstadt, and I was intrigued to learn that they were Linda's band for a short while. I certainly enjoy the albums they both put out, but it makes me wonder how things would have turned out if they had stayed with her and also did a few independent albums. Somewhat like Buck Owens' band, the Buckaroos, did for a while. They were his backing band but also released their own albums with a different sound. It's probably best things worked out how they did though!
That's right! I recall hearing it mentioned on an interview she did, and I looked into it a bit. The only album they played on was her eponymous third album, all four founding members were credited on various songs. I believe they toured with her for a time and started the group right after leaving.
I have been a fan of Post Malone for a while. I knew he was crazy talented and I loved his honest vibe. And I was hopeful that he would grow up a bit and expose himself even more. I love his vulnerability. And this is recorded live. The vocals are insane. The last song is the best in my opinion. So raw. I love it.
