Bitcoin only πŸ€™onward
Just got off the phone with Greg, from Greg's Tax Service.
He's an orange pilled Tax accountant I found on https://www.bitlist.com/
Great convo, half the time we talked about saylor, Start9 and if robosats or bisq2 is better for non kyc corn.
Imagine telling your tax preparer that you live on bitcoin and are starting a pleb mining business, with the intention of paying 0 to the gov by deducting bitcoin related equipment and trips.
And the accountant saying "Oh wow that sounds great. Now if I were you I wouldn't get involved with compass mining, not your asic not your hash, freak."
reply
orange pilled Tax accountant
There's no such thing. Bitcoin means a direct threat to tax accountants, is literally putting them on a jobless position. That's why they also are threat to bitcoin, because they will try everything in their power to make you be... COMPLIANT ! And compliance is what will kill Bitcoin!

Sharpened my wife's kitchen knives yesterday. Forgot my chisels at the job site, so couldn't get them sharpened. Putting freshly sharpened knives through the paper test and the tomato test are always so satisfying.

Normal people: "The sunset is beautiful."
Novelist: "As daylight yields to dusk, witness nature's symphony unfold, where the sun, a luminary maestro, orchestrates a crescendo of colors across the firmament. Behold the celestial tapestry, woven with threads of molten gold and roseate hues, as if the heavens themselves bow in reverence to the breathtaking spectacle, a poetic ode to the ephemeral majesty of existence."

Easiest way is probably to just assign new login keys. And use nostr login instead of lightning?
I really like how I can simply generate new nostr keys with openssl rand -hex 32.

I talked about how much I was anticipating my walk yesterday, and it was as good as expected. This time of the year is my favorite for walking -- between 30-50 degrees means I don't break into an awful sweat while walking, and I find the cold invigorating (at least this degree of cold -- 15 degrees and windy I could do without). Really what I need to get me ready for the week.
reply
What type of walks? Hikes?
reply
Mostly long walks to town (so on pavement and often sidewalks). I do like a good hike, but the woods near us were almost certainly too muddy from the rain we've been having to be fun.
reply
Ah yes, one can only take so much mud hehe... I know, I have a dog hahaha.
Sounds like you've got some good walks, are you listening to something meanwhile or?

starting today and next 2-3 days I will have snow !
reply
41 sats \ 1 reply \ @siggy47 25 Mar
Is that unusual in your region?
reply
No, almost every year we have snow in March and even April. Even more than in Jan - Feb ! Are quite high mountains around and lots of deep valleys, so that's why the weather is quite unpredictable around. This ruins a bit my plan to go to my citadel early this year.
reply
how many raccoons you've found partying in your house?
reply
My daughter and her boyfriend were protecting the property. My daughter likes raccoons and allows them to do as they please, which means the garbage was not secured. They had a feast. None have breached the living quarters so far as I can tell, but I do hear some scurrying around in the attic. I must investigate.
reply
All good things must come to an end. It's already spring, but it's still so cold! It feels more like winter.

did you manage to lose the seeds? πŸ˜‚
reply
Yes. It was very sad. 😩 I thought I had nothing to worry about. I should have known. On our way back north from the caribbean, the weather got much worse. By dawn Saturday there were 50 mph winds and 15 foot seas. I went to have breakfast in the dining room. Service was slow because dishes, bottles, etc were broken. A worker must have not secured them. I went back to the cabin. My wife wanted to sleep late that morning, so I sat out on the balcony, sipping some coffee. I had my seeds with me, as always. Suddenly, a strong gust of wind rocked the ship toward starboard (the right side of the boat, to you landlubbers), where my cabin was. The hot coffee wound up in my lap. I yelled and instinctively reached down to protect myself from further burns, when the paper flew from my grasp and was swept under a small space between the floor of the balcony deck and the rail. I caught a slight fairwell glimpse of my future fortune as it disappeared under the waves.
reply
ugh, damn, I'm really sorry for your lost. πŸ˜”πŸ˜” but you can always stack 'em back.

That is utter bullshit. "Surname" comes from the Latin word "supernomen", which is a combination of "super-" (above, beyond) and "nomen" (name). The "sur-" part is just a shortening of "super".

There's not much you can do about physical youth, but it's important to maintain mental youth. A young and open minded mentality is the way to go.

Here, too, these festivals take place with traditional clothing that is no longer worn in everyday life. I know that it is also a very strong tradition in the emigrant community in several countries around the world, especially in France. I've often found myself wondering if people who see these traditional clothes will think that they are still worn in everyday life.
reply
I can understand why people don't wear them too much now, like they are indeed less practical for daily and probably hard to be massive produced too. πŸ‘€
But I would like to integrate the traditional clothing into my daily ones, which I'm secretly doing atm.
