Worst weather since we got on this ship. There are modern stabilizers that keep the ride as smooth as possible, but the rain and wind still make their presence felt. Those ancient explorers had gigantic cajones.
Those crazy people are the real heroes... sail to the unknown... even in these modern times, you are brave @siggy47

Brave? I lounge on my ass while underpaid workers scurry around providing for my every need. 7 months without a day off, and their little cabins are near or below the water line, where they really get knocked around.

I have met many on the ship. I have also met many Indians. They all are nice, because I guess they have to be, but once you scratch the surface you get a glimpse of their reality. Some people have been working 7 months on, 2 months home with their family, for 25 years!

I'm sure you do! Do you work as a sailor or fisherman? Or do you work on a cruise ship?

Me? No! I wouldn't last a day working on this ship. I'm an old, retired passenger. @carlosfandango actually has worked on a cruise ship.
