Worst weather since we got on this ship. There are modern stabilizers that keep the ride as smooth as possible, but the rain and wind still make their presence felt. Those ancient explorers had gigantic cajones.

Those crazy people are the real heroes... sail to the unknown... even in these modern times, you are brave @siggy47

reply

Brave? I lounge on my ass while underpaid workers scurry around providing for my every need. 7 months without a day off, and their little cabins are near or below the water line, where they really get knocked around.

reply

I though it was some kind of small ship... hahaha, you are right, a lack of context for my comment.

It's basically a city!

I have met many on the ship. I have also met many Indians. They all are nice, because I guess they have to be, but once you scratch the surface you get a glimpse of their reality. Some people have been working 7 months on, 2 months home with their family, for 25 years!

I'm having breakfast in the restaurant now. There was just a gigantic, Fawlty Towers worthy crash in the kitchen. All the workers went running. I think someone was caught off guard by what seems to me to be very rough seas.

Good tip, though we won't be going to any off plan dinners. There has been lots of chatter about the upside down pineapple thing, but no actual sightings. This is pretty much a senior crowd in our section, so the visuals you conjur are not pleasant.

I see @siggy47 is going to tell us that he lost the seeds on a boating accident soon. 😂

reply

Can't you let me build the drama?

reply

my bad. 😂😂😂

reply

I hope you are safe!

reply

Thanks for the concern. I'm sure it's just another day at sea for experienced cruisers.

reply

I'm sure you do! Do you work as a sailor or fisherman? Or do you work on a cruise ship?

reply

Me? No! I wouldn't last a day working on this ship. I'm an old, retired passenger. @carlosfandango actually has worked on a cruise ship.

reply

Hahaha ok, I hope you have a good time on your vacation then and arrive safely in port

reply

Thanks.
