my playlist is about 50-70 percent music from the late 90s, early 2000s :)

There's definitely a lot of 2000s stuff on mine, but most of mine is probably 80s/90s rock and heavy metal.
Definitely associate the music with particular eras of my life. Even if it wasn't exactly the music of that time.
I'm# Ugly Kid Joe - Everything About You # Some more early '90's rock from UKJ, great band live. You can hear hints of Guns and Roses in there.

Is this some hip music that I don't understand?
Never thought id get that blast from the past today. 🤣
I should have saved it for tomorrow, nevermind, I'll have to find another blast from the past
i'm sure there's plenty more where that came from. around the same time as "i hate everything about you" there was another track that got played loads on Kerrang and scuzz... and i just associate the two tracks together. so that one might make an appearance tomorrow 😉
Nice, looking forward to it
Old school rock and roll this morning. The rolling stones!

I don't think I ever watched that... Was probably too engrossed in Stargate and star trek 🤣🤣

There was a series doing the rounds on some of the social medias where people highlighted the importance of music by removing the actual music and playing something else over the top. Eg. A sad funeral type scene... And someone's playing Pharrell Williams - Happy over the top of it.
Really highlights the importance of music.
Or take music away when it's used to build suspense in a movie ... And all you get is an actor looking a bit scared in a wood... Add that music back in and suddenly it's eerie and scary again.
The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
view on www.youtube.comI've only recently been able to the listen to this.
Kerrang and scuzz used to play this ever 10minutes. It became so overplayed I got sick of hearing it.
But nowadays, I can appreciate just how good it is in its simplicity and that's part of the reason why it still gets used today at sports events, it's a good song that lots of people know and it's simple and effective.

this had a real comedic effect going on, especially in the beginning, i loved that his chair looked like a cut off shopping trolley.
felt like i was watching a benny hill sketch or even harry hill for that matter (no relation to each other).
great track, i can hear that western style guitar mixed with that samba feel. really really cool fusion. and it's hugely impressive that they had songs in multiple languages. too often do we just hear English in music.
