I think there might be a use case for a decentralized gig-economy competitor to Fiverr and Upwork specifically. Some benefits:
- Requires good game theory and well thought out incentives
- Retain more money for participants. Eliminates rent seekers.
- Smart contract automation
- Censorship resistance
- Enhanced privacy and data ownership
- Global accessibility and inclusivity
To name a few...

I'm not very optimistic about the DAO model. Sometimes centralization is more efficient. Like running an org. Decentralization is good for our money, not for everything.
