I don't hate the prospect as a bridge. But not a long term solution. We need to go get our guy. And I think that's maye. So probably we package picks to move up

Since we're in a very similar situation, I'll say that I'm hoping we draft Penix towards the end of the 1st (maybe in a trade for the 49ers pick). We aren't desperate for a starter, so I say take a big upside swing, which in his case is betting on his health.

I think the 49ers would be willing to move that pick if all the guys they are targeting are off the board.
