I know is hard to keep that balance, I am struggling myself too. But when I see that my spending is going higher, I just post/comment more. And balance is restored naturally.

Oh, you missed the old daily rewards by 10 days. We used to reward the best stackers daily.
Stackers rank higher if they contribute to the site by either a) creating good content or b) zapping good content early
Good content is content that hits the front page and was zapped by many stackers.[1] The sat amount has some weight but it's not linear per stacker: if 10 stackers zap 100 sats each the content ranks higher than if one stacker zaps 1000 sats even though it's the same sat amount in total.

It's the way the current day is added to the monthly score. If it's early in the day, it's not very competitive so on a relative basis you're high value. As more people start gaining value it "normalizes" everyone's score for the day.

I don't know why geographical borders are absurd, but I think the answer to why they exist is to keep power. There's bo chance that national power brokers would allow every citizen to actually opt in or out of any nation they choose. It makes me wonder, "What type of country would people opt into?" My guess is the most freedom country that affords the best chance at prosperity yet still retains safety and security.
And one addendum: add the nation which affords the "best chance for prosperity"
Iāve been think a lot about the impact of bitcoin education and how educators should be more conscious of the culture of the people theyāre trying to Orange-pill.
I feel that some sort of standard is forming in terms of how bitcoin education is spread but the culture is overlooked. What Iāve seen that happens most of the time is that some newbies struggle to see their place in bitcoin and bitcoin in their place.

Lnproxy is better used on the recipient side to protect privacy. Sending side is not as useful, there's pretty good privacy on lightning when sending anyways (depends on which mobile wallet or if you're using a custodian anyways).

FYI when I did this poll #457470 I got an error message that said polls must end at least 1 day in the future. I went back and checked options which showed the date automatically populated March 10 12:30pm but I still got the same error message so I manually changed the date to March 11th and it worked. However the poll is now showing 1 day left so I think there is something buggy about your auto populated date. Just letting you know.

I had a guy joining to SN with an invite link from me and he said that got a black screen with an error with something about "was true".
In my invite links it doesn't appear to be used and he didn't get the sats.
Now he already have an account so doesn't matter the sats.
Only FYI to check the invite process.
And btw, new users have to pay 1000 sats for new posts. So lesson learned, invite links should be min 1000 sats if you want somebody to help starting.

We use exponential fees against spam so consecutive posts within 10m cost 10x more than the last. Could be that you posted your bio within 10m before your post, will check š

Did you find something weird about invite links?
Invites claimed with LN and nostr have been weird for some time but the error you mentioned sounds new:
We only had problems with detecting new users to reward the referee but signup should work fine.

hehehe there are many tricks on SN. You will learn them slowly.
Here is one for you, as new member: a long press on the zap bolt and you can choose the amount of sats. Also in your profile settings you can set default amount.
I used LNauth with Zeus, and to post a new discussion the invoice was 1,000 sats
