I actually found a way to see all the archives of the deleted comments. I'll tell you all about it in the comment below so everyone can use the technique.

The Privacy Lovers' comment and post deletion used to bother me, because I thought it devalued the conversations they were a part of. I still think it does that, but it also adds a bit of mystery to the site. You've got to be in the right place at the right time if you want to be in the know.
