Welcome new territory ~gaming! 🎉🎉🎉
Gaming is a generalization of ~retrogaming which will allow us to have more fun with more frens! 🤠
Anything gaming related is a fair game, new games, retro games, desk games, videos, etc! Come and have fun with us!
I wanted to give @gnilma a shout out for suggesting Mario Party for the switch as a good game that both my 13 year old and 5 year could play.
Excellent recommendation and fun for everyone. Even my wife and I have been enjoying playing with them.

Thanks for the shout out.
In return, I would like to shout you out for keep talking about Luigi's Mansion 3. I went and bought the game and is current having my ass kicked by King Boo. Great and fun game that I really enjoy playing with my older son, and my little one loves to watch us play.

King Boo is a tough final boss. Very fun game.

Luigi Mansion 3 also has get replay-ability I prefer it as an October/ Halloween game up it is fun anytime of the year.

We played a ton of Mario Party in undergrad. That was on some previous platform, but it's definitely fun for all ages.

You should get that for your little one when she gets a bit older.

Wow, this is what I really wanted and nearly created this territory but then ended up with @retrogaming.
But now I can write here. Thanks mate!!!👍👍

Looking forward to hanging out here in the future! I love my older consoles (SNES, GBA, PS2, PSP) but I send much more time playing PC games. Entirely on Linux, except for my retro PC collection.

Are you playing the retro PC collection through RetroArch?
reply
I do run some games on RetroArch and Wine, but I actually like to buy some of my favorite games on CD/DVD and run them on era specific hardware and software. Windows 98+ and XP are the two I usually use. It's sometimes a big hassle to dig up everything to get them running well, but it's enjoyable for me!

awesome! i think it's a good switch too, retro gaming was a bit limiting

Welcome ~gaming territory!
This new territory makes more sense, ~retrogaming was quite limiting.

Get rebranding, hope it brings in my Cowfolk so we can nerd out with!

This is a rebranding/renaming of retrogaming, yea? Thanks for the move. I've always wanted to talk about more recent games but always hesitant to post them in the retrogaming territory. Should have voiced it out earlier, but this is a great change.
In other news, have you joined the galaxy's last line of offense to fight for freedom and managed democracy yet? If not, I urge you to become a legend by joining the Helldivers.

Stacker News has basically absorbed any time that used to go towards gaming, but if I get back into Skyrim, I'll share the experience on here.

I wish I would have some time to play. There are couple games and remasters that I wanted to go through...

I had just downloaded an enormous mod pack, that basically makes it a new game, that I was very excited about. Before I really got into it, my daughter's sleep schedule changed in a way that took away any free evening time and then I got hooked on SN.
