Most certainly had a similar discovery in my 30s. I was making lots of money but living fairly unhealthy life.
I realized life is a series of accounts: Money, Family, Health, Spiritual, Fun, etc
You can decide to focus on one at the exclusion of others, but you are just draining those other accounts to do so. So you can maximize your "Fun" account at the expense of your Money or Health....but none of that comes for free....you will need to pay the piper eventually. Finding balance is really the key.
Tradeoffs are impossible to escape
Your list reminds me of Maslow pyramid of needs and satisfaction
