I would put my money on kidneys that can be confused with sciatica..
Oh kidney issues cause your legs to have vague radiating pain?

Im no doctor,
But i know both are confused sometimes.
Would make sense if you drop a diuretic, it affects the kidney quickly.
But, I think the leg usually point out to sciatica indeed
