Title.

I do not know much about lighting.
Therefore, I'd like to ask here if it's possible to DCA via lightning, allowing me to circumvent many small UTXO's once I send the total amount to my on-chain HW-wallet.
Would that be possible, and where could I do this?
Of course, with any lightning app. Try Blink. learn more https://darthcoin.substack.com/p/lightning-wallets-comparison To send to blink on chain funds, do it via swap, eg https://boltz.exchange/ When you have enough, swap to your unused address a preferred size

Just to get this straight: I can, say, have 10 buys on lightning, which will turn out to one UTXO when sending it back to on-chain?
reply
Yea, and same if you make 10 purchases on an exchange and make a single deposit for the exchange to your own wallet

Any particular exchange in mind?
reply
Any exchange … until you move the bitcoin off the exchange, it’s just a placeholder. When you move it off the exchange, they will do it in a single transaction
reply
yes, if you send it back on chain in one swap transaction
reply
Awesome.

Yes. Many good responses already. Nothing to add.

I use strike for a "vacation fund DCA". Basically I turn my credit card rewards into USD, then turn that USD into sats on lightning. Those sats are then saved for a nice vacation :)
"Dirty" is one way to put it.. They know you bought coins, but since there are no UTXOs, they don't know where they went, especially if you withdraw to a mobile wallet or something before sending to your main wallet

As in Non-KYC / KYC?
