In another life, I stacked sats using these 7 different methods: #160020.
I don’t know whether it is just me, but most of these methods have dried up.
I cannot earn sats through my steps because even if I want to sell my privacy, sMiles doesn’t recognise my phone number. I’m not giving you a fake number, sMiles!
Bitcoin Magazine keeps me hanging in the air. I keep in the verification code countless times on various days, but it keeps spinning and spinning. And I was so close to its 500 sats minimum withdrawal limit! Darn!
Vestly does enrich my mind with its quiz questions, but does it fatten my wallet? Noooooo. I can only withdraw sats to my ZBD wallet, but my transactions always fail.
As for Fountain, I recently had two occasions in which I qualified for sats. Unfortunately, as I listened to the podcast, my sats pool remained a resolute zero. I’m not sure whether I have fallen prey to a technical glitch.
This means that Stacker News is my most lucrative source of sats. Sometimes, I get more. Other days, I get less. But I always end up with some sats.
Let’s hope I don’t jinx its future!
Fold app has been pretty glitch free for me.
Bought cold wallet twice with their coinkite gift card. Got like 10 percents sats back.
Lolli works sort of ok, but I can only withdraw after my balance totals $15. I’ve been collecting sats for over a year and the price rise in that period is what got me to $7.
Stacker News has been the best when it comes to collecting sats, but the content itself is rewarding.
The other apps are purely about collecting a few sats. SN is just fun to be on.

I've also been doing pretty well with Fold and I'm still in the process of convincing my wife to let me pay more of our bills with it, so it should be even better in the future.

Might give them another look. How much you pay per month?

Fold app has been money for me. Gone are the glory days of 2-5+% rewards back in 2021 but still worth the fee.
For me the key is using Citicards (Double Cash 2% flat and Costco Visa 3% restaurants+travel, 4% gas) -> Pay using Paypal bill pay giving me an extra 0.5% sats on top. Used to be 1% but still worth it- nice to get $10 in sats on a $2k credit card bill.
It also works I believe with Amazon (have not tried) and a few other credit cards but I have not been able to get Paypal to work with my Chase cards.
I also use it for rent (net positive after $4.95 debit card fee) and 4 times a year to pay my estimated quarterly taxes ($2.14 fee to make a $7k payment).
Part of the fun of the bull run up has been seeing the USD worth of the sats I've stacked on Fold go skyrocketing.
...
SN on the other hand is a sat loser for me. I don't comment as much as I'm here to spend sats freely to stimulate the ecosystem and community.

Super helpful. Thank you! I’m all about 2% citi double cash and using that cash back to stack some serious sats.

I didn't realize I could do that. Setting that up is next on my list.

Not life changing money obviously and some would argue not even worth the time but it’s a fun little hobby to stack sats here and there and get an extra 0.5% discount on life purchases.
reply
At sat-cent parity, each of those rewards will be hundreds of dollars.

Glad that my humble post may help you step up your sat accumulation game

Thanks for sharing your processes. I’m not based in the US, so I cannot take advantage of the things you mentioned. But just reading how circular your system is inspired me

$10 for Spin+, which I more than break even on. You can use it for free, though, there just aren't as many perks.

Fun is best. It is a natural motivator for us to stay here haha
For me, I think the fun stems from how I will definitely learn something new from Stackers every day. That increase in knowledge is empowering (and may be worth more than the sats themselves)

You (and all the other stackers on SN) get to decide how many sats people earn by zapping good content.
No need to hope, you have the power to make sure the future is bright.

Thank you for including us in this journey xP

I have seen some people stacking good sats with Nostr, but engagement is so difficult there.

I guess one must make a name for himself before he can cut through the noise on Nostr

Correct, like Twitter.

Mining has been pretty nice, I'm making a dollar a day while heating the condo.
Found a side hustle that pays in bitcoin
Spending rewards are cool
Maybe earning from Robosats/Jam/Lightning node management will become more of a thing in the future.
reply
I always have the impression that mining causes electricity bills to escalate. Nice that you found a win-win situation
Could you expand on earning via RoboSats? I thought that was just a place to get non-KYC sats (at a higher price than CEX-originated sats)?
reply
Robosats is peer to peer. Sell corn to plebs for a 3-5% non kyc premium. You can complete multiple small offers a day.

I had that same issue with sMiles, but I don't recall how it got resolved.
For those who haven't used it in a while, they've greatly increased earning potential with mobile game integration. It's similar to Zebedee, but I feel like there are fewer adds, higher payments, and the sats accrue to sMiles automatically.
reply
Might just write in to the smiles team since I clock 10,000 steps every day haha. Good that you can use it!
reply
I recall it being a common issue for people. Too bad I don't even remember how I figured it out.

BitcoinMagazine works well for me but the same thing happened to a friend as you, the code never arrived... And another one that I recently used that pays without problems although super minimum amounts... They are the ones from "THNDR Game". And without a doubt SN is my main place to stack sats. I want to learn about more places. I just read about one called "Apollo" but I haven't tried it yet.
reply
Yes Apollo pays you 200 sats for each review you write on a BTC product.
Here’s my review of SN on Apollo: #111388
@julian, the CEO of Apollo, did an AMA here when the founders launched it: #103519

Ok, homework for the weekend... Review "Apollo"

I tried reading BTC magazine articles but after not seeing a promoted article and needing to two-factor every time I remember I lost interest.
I do enjoy Fountain even with the odd bugs.
ZBD games are ok but feel like it’s just swapping a few sats for watching an ad sometimes.
