It's less so suffering specifically and more so experience. Most worthwhile experiences involve some degree of suffering though.
A friend of mine likes to say there are two types of fun. Type 1 which is fun in the moment but not after the fact and Type 2 which is not fun in the moment but fun after the fact. The period of time "after the fact" lasts longer than a moment, possibly the rest of a lifetime.
Got it. Disciplined action with the determination to endure hardship to get to the other side of a goal.
