Totally agree on the moderation, it's much needed but not rewarded in the short term as many founders expect!
The intention is good, to have like a repository for new stackers, where to start reading, curated content, to walk them through easily and not bombard them with shit tons of links from news, podcasts, crap articles that will only confuse them more.
All that random content is already on main bitcoin territory...
