He's an A/V engineer/technician who bought Bitcoin in 2012. When you are rich you can start a company and be recognized. Just kidding he has obviously made other very good and profitable decisions.

I seeing a lot of video clips of Jack Mallers preaching the Ultra Bullish Bitcoin Gospel to TV talking heads. He is often wearing a hoodie, talks over-the-top passionately, and uses hip-hop slang in his corporate communications. 

I am just curious about his rise to running an international company and prominence. Is he a developer? A non-technical pleb entrepreneur? Wealthy VC?

I just find him to be eccentric / enigmatic and was curious about what he does he does behind the scenes, off camera.
