I had him as a freshman, orange pilled him early senior year when he joined my chess club...2 week after giving him "The Simplest Bitcoin Book" to read he told me he bought a signing device to move his coins to cold storage (Trezor). One week after that he told me he wrote a persuasive essay for his English class called "Why Bitcoin." I read it and it's quite good. Very accurate. He focused on Bitcoin's decentralization and use case in countries with high inflation. He cited Alex Gladstein among a few other people that I didn't recognize.
Anyways, I'm obviously very proud of him. He's the second student I've completely orange-pilled in 2 years. Last year was the class valedictorian. She was so orange-pilled that when we dropped from 50k (when she bought) down to 30k I asked her if she was worried -- she replied by telling me she doesn't even look at the price! She's better than me!
All my students know I'm the Bitcoin guy. Most are curious, but only a few ask follow up questions where I can dive deeper with them.
