Some is sell the news but I think it is primarily GBTC settling redemptions from yesterday. Likely more to come. GBTC volume is huge again today.
Just traded off the high fee GBTC bag I had in my IRA. I ended up going with:

Looks like we had a pretty good sell the news event with the ETFs... hoping we get a decent dip to buy some cheaper bitcoin before we head back up.
Seems like it. Still, I am very optimistic. We're down to back where we were a week ago, and considering the run-up we've had over the last several months I'd expect a much harder dump if sell-the-news is the narrative.

I have a website running on a RPi that has been up continuously since 2014. It is on the same SD for 10 years. The whole SD card corruption is overblown.
I agree. But in my experience with a pu it's best to wire up (and add code for) a pi power button - as there isn't one built in when it ships.
In my early dabblings I lost a couple SD cards without that small button to rely on when things go wrong. (Pulling power cord at the wall killed the cards.)
If it's a mostly static website, there are mostly read operations on the card. That's fine. What's wearing down an sd card are write operations, which are aplenty when running a Bitcoin node.
But even then, a failure is not a guarantee, just a probability (just like 10 minutes until next block is not guaranteed).

Maybe. I generate all images every 5 minutes from db data, and there are writes to the db every 18 seconds. This db is on the SD.
Maybe look at your fstab and mount frequently written directories to tmpfs if you don't really need them and/or turn down your logging verbosity. There are a lot of little tweaks you can do to make things more efficient if need be.

However, regarding the trust scores: there isn't a single trust score per stacker. Trust scores are calculated between stackers.
If stacker A zaps what stacker B has zapped before, then B earned some trust from A (but not vice versa).
We do this to show everyone more of the content they like. If you use an inkognito tab, you should see that the items on the frontpage are ranked slightly different.
That's very interesting.
If we implemented the trust score idea from these cowboy hat ideas, then we'd have different colored hats depending on who's looking at us.

Very interesting. It seems trust score is important. One day we may have to do proof of trust and save the trust scores in the Blockchain (as inscriptions or something๐ )
Since gently personalized feeds, we use a matrix [0] so every stacker has a trust score from the PoV of another stacker. Before that, we all just saw content from the PoV of @k00b's account iirc.
