At my previous company, I never had to think about this. All I did was to work on the same microservice that was connected to and consumed by basically everything else (microservice architecture at it's finest) and some bugs and their impacts were so ridiculous, I started to treat my code like any bug in it could grind the whole company to a halt, lol

And every time I found a bug, I wrote a test case for it so it never happens again.

That is an issue. My cat sits on my bald head, then starts sliding off and breaks his fall by using my glasses. It's something to see.

No matter what I try, I can't sleep more than 5 1/2 hours. They say that's a symptom of age. An afternoon nap usually keeps me going.

During the workweek, I'm lucky to get 6 hours of sleep, unfortunately :(

Yes, the body needs good sleep to recover. The amount of sleep needed varies from person to person, and it seems to me that we need less sleep as we get older. I take advantage of the weekend to sleep and go out. I try not to look at computers or phones.
