i have very little exp with twitter bot creation. is it like a create and your done thing or does it need maintenance?
Well it would be constantly running, looking for mentions to act on. So it would have to be running somewhere. You would also need a database with sufficient size. Depending on how popular it gets you may also need to manage the space requirements.

I found a decent tutorial using twerpy and python to create bots on twitter. I have minimal python exp, but might be a fun project to mess around with.
