This is like asking "Where can I find Satoshi Nakamoto in the blockchain?" Is the creator of bitcoin subject to the laws governing the blockchain? Of course not. In the same way, God by necessity must be outside of and not governed/restricted by time, space, and matter, being the creator of all created things visible and invisible.
The scripture tells us a few things however:
"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." -Psalm 145:18
"Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me." -Psalm 139:7-10
"Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord." -Jeremiah 23:24
It seems as though He isn't difficult to find if you are genuinely looking. I assume the problem is that most people can't find God the same way a bank robber can't find a police officer. The same reason Adam and Eve hid from God because they were embarrassed over their sins. The initial step in repentance and calling on God and asking Him to forgive you is a massive hurdle most people aren't willing to make, however that is the point I found God draws near.
The scripture also tells us Jesus was a dark skinned man that was a refugee, preached socialist ideals, and hung out with sinners, the poor, and the sick on a daily basis. He also showed nothing but unfaltered love even to those engaged in sin and never forced nor mandated they believed what he taught. Don't forget that.
God is within you and within all is flock, that is the place where you will find God, God is found in every corner so if you want to find God, you must look inside yourself
Great question I wonder the same on a daily basis. Also wondering why if this god was so perfect there are so many contradictions in the biblical text.
To me, God is everywhere I want Him to be. I bring Him with me to work every day, and He helps me get through the day, for example. You can pray anywhere, anytime, with no one else's permission or knowledge. Try having a conversation with God, and listen to what He tells you.
