Almost everyone agrees that art is very important in people's lives and evolution. Books, movies, TV shows, music, paintings, sculptures, and many more have been groundbreaking throughout history and revolutionized the way people see the world.
I could cite many works of art, but the movie "Schindler's List" had a profound impact on my personal development, making me a more open-minded person to minorities.

And in your case, which work of art has had the greatest impact on your personal development ?

The Art of War - Sun Tzu Meditations - Marcus Aurelius

How have these works of art influenced your personal development?

Both of these books attack the seemingly natural tendency to succumb to our emotion and knee-jerk reactions, both in their own unique way.
By expanding the space between these emotions and our actions, it becomes much easier to consistently make decisions that advantage my personal position. Virtue vs vice.
By rejecting vice more often, both time and energy can be much more easily dedicated to the pursuit of wisdom (virtue). I spend hours every day purely focussed on learning and self-improvement.
