Yeah, this same meme is pretty much in every movie now. The villain is always a capitalist. 

We were talking about this in the Saloon a week or so ago. I guess Capra got blacklisted. His sympathies are obvious. There was a time when I couldn't watch it, but I have mellowed.

I still like "It's a Wonderful Life" but it is so full of Marxist anti-capitalism that it is hard for me to really enjoy it like I used to. The old rich villain vs. the poorly managed fiat loan company thing is to on the nose. I do love the rest of it though. Community support and seeing the impact one person can have on those around them. Get lessons for us all.
