I have a hard time picking favorites for things like this but I have always really enjoyed "Holiday Inn". It pre-dates "White Christmas" and IMO is a much better script/storyline as well as having Fred Astaire. Don't get me wrong, both are good but I think "White Christmas" is mostly more popular because of its title.
I also enjoy "Christmas Vacation", "A Christmas Story", "Elf", and "Home Alone".
It's A Wonderful Life and Home Alone.
I still like "It's a Wonderful Life" but it is so full of Marxist anti-capitalism that it is hard for me to really enjoy it like I used to. The old rich villain vs. the poorly managed fiat loan company thing is to on the nose. I do love the rest of it though. Community support and seeing the impact one person can have on those around them. Get lessons for us all.
We were talking about this in the Saloon a week or so ago. I guess Capra got blacklisted. His sympathies are obvious. There was a time when I couldn't watch it, but I have mellowed.
Yeah, this same meme is pretty much in every movie now. The villain is always a capitalist.
And an evil landlord usually.
Another good one my wife and I recently re-watched is Jimmy Stewart in "The Shop Around the Corner".
I just mentioned it to my wife. She never heard of it. How about The Bishop's Wife? She loves it. I haven't seen it.
I have seen it at least twice but I can't recall if I liked it.
Die Hard.

Unpopular opinion - I think "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is a Christmas film. And my favourite.
Jingle All the Way is a classic
Christmas vacation is a classic. Jim Carey Grinch is great too
For me it is “A Christmas Carol” starring Patrick Stewart. I feel like he really shines as Ebenezer Scrooge and his version doesn’t get enough love.

I also like “A Christmas Story”, “Home Alone”, “Elf”, “Holiday Inn”, and “White Christmas” as well.
