Thanks for sharing this, my last node was kind of unstable, I was using LND, I was wonder how services providers like WoS, Muun and Phoenix can have this supreme level of stability and performance.
well I was using an old athlon, I think next time i will find better hardware. But I'm agree with you, a network of raspberry doesn't look very responsive.
I mean for learning and testing is OK to run a RPi, but if we want to compete for real with fiat financial system, we need strong AF machines, software and networks...
This is my project, I intentionally kept the instructions a bit vague for now since this isn't ready for people who don't have the technical knowledge what "disabling umbrel" means or know how to search how to it ;)
It means disable umbrel functionality so it won't start after a reboot.
After two days it's running quite stable with far less resources, so I might write a step-by-step tutorial to migrate.
Much easier:
Done, be happy
What people still don't understand: Umbrel is NOT a node! Is just a simple webUI and a docker packager for apps.
why fuck LND? just to know...
It’s very buggy and unstable.

Intel NUC seems to be the right maschine for amateurs
Channel.db bloat probably.
Why two lightning wallets (Spark, Zeus)?
