Ah, with global you mean like anywhere in the world, not affecting the whole world, I guess.

the idea is you can subscribe to a specific geographic region and event type (ie: terrorism) and get alerts for those events. (i haven't built this part yet)

I am not sure what a global threat is. Pandemics? Aliens? Nuclear war? All of this and more?
