Each time I hear about how expensive living has become, I feel the need to go take another look at https://wtfhappenedin1971.com
Its not that living is more expensive, living still costs the same it always did. The difference is most people living in the west do not have access to jobs that would pay for quality of life their parents enjoyed.

Housing and rents have become ridiculously expensive, making it really tough for the younger generation to leave their parents house. I left mine very late, but still sooner than the average in my country.
