If you do nothing else for your bitcoin inheritance planning, make sure that your partner knows your trusted bitcoin friend - ideally have met them - but definitely contact details.

You may not have a will. You may not have thought about your keys. You may just be a happy pleb stacking and living life (winning!) .. but you don't want your spouse/kids posting on Reddit/Twitter/Nostr saying:

"Hey, Mum was a bitcoiner but we don't know what to do with these 12 words .. can someone help?"

The passing of people close to you brings stress and grief and doesn't make for clear thinking
You want your diligent stacking and saving to protect them and nurture them.

If you do nothing else before year end, do this.

Fuck them!

If they are not capable to take the bitcoin from me while I am alive, that means they are dumb and don't deserve my money.

I will go with my bitcoin into the grave or stars, or whatever will be that place.

sometimes I do think maybe people should earn their own money, instead of getting from others, including inheritance; Otherwise easy come, easy go.

Definitely this. If possible have each person responsible for a signer. Ideally, a multisig. So when you're not there anymore, they already had the training and can use the multisig.

Call me an optimist but...

You know what, that's actually an orange pilling excuse for your close friends right there.

If you've got kids who are too young to take it all in - and no really close Bitcoiner friends that you can trust...

You've got one hell of an excuse to educate to a high degree your really close Bitcoin-agnostic friend now.

Interesting that a possible double calamity could bring about a double win...

...both before and after you're dead.
