Inevitable when 80% of degrees probably aren't worth the cost to acquire them. Colleges shrinking and becoming more specialized would be a benefit in my opinion.
Like all bubbles, this one is due to widespread resource misallocations, so it would be better for it to burst and have those resources put towards more productive uses.
