Yeah. I was kind of joking. There's an English expression "let sleeping dogs lie." It means if something could potentially be a problem, don't stir it up.

I've been thinking about a dog for a long time so I don't think I'll ever not want a dog anymore. I am pretty sure that this is what I want. I just know how much effort it can be (or at least don't want to underestimate it) and it's hard to tell if my current situation in life is good for a dog. And I am already sad when thinking about me surviving him or her even though I don't even have a dog yet, lol
Maybe I should start reading books about raising a dog. But I have also read that maybe, I shouldn't start with a puppy but a dog which was already raised by someone ... 🤔 But there are probably tons of books on other stuff about dogs.
But currently no idea when I'll be ready for one. Planning to meet @k00b in Austin next year and then, let's see where I'll end up.
