It's Sunday Funday! Thus it is football day and poll day!
I was fairly skeptical of the NBA in-season tournament but it has been an interesting experiment so far. I think the jury is still out on whether it will be a success or not but I have been compelled to pay more attention to tournament games then I would typical regular season games. In my opinion, one thing that needs vast improvement is the custom court designs they use for in-season tournament games. While I like the idea of a custom court design for the tournament, most of these designs are absolute abominations. Maybe I am just old and not cool.
What are your thoughts on the custom courts for the in-season tournament?

He had a great game though. Nice run by Jacobs and a bit lucky the ball went out of bounds. I need a Raiders win here to go 5-3 on my bets for the week.

TD!!!
I haven't tallied it up, but I got killed in the early slate. Tyler Boyd completely screwed me with his dropped TD and the Ravens completely blew their huge lead.

I think some of them are abominations, but not every one of them.
Someone was pitching tweaking the tournament next year to use some form of target scores. I like that particular idea, but also more generally, it would be very cool to experiment with different game formats during the tournament.

It feels like the Jets. Their defense is the best unit either team has. If we don't give up a defensive score, though, I think the Raiders will win.
I can't believe the Jets are only up three. It's felt like they've been better on both sides of the ball.

Yeah Jets D is great but they can't seem to score a TD to save their lives so just need to get the rook some time to throw and keep getting the ball to Davante. That one handed catch with Gardener draped all over him was incredible.

Maxx and Davante are probably the two best players on the field and Carlson is definitely the best kicker, so I'm feeling a little more hopeful.
It's hard to get used to all the flags being on the other team.

oh, i cleaned up this weekend. michigan won (and covered), the lions won (and covered), the cowboys kept me alive in the pool, the bungles knocked someone else out of the pool, and i took the over on 1.5 field goals for zuerlein tonight. i'm running hot right into heads up in the pool, i'm pretty sure nifty already burned the lions, and i've been saving 'em for exactly this situation

"WTF happened to the court?" Was my first reaction to these custom court designs. Definitely catches the eyeballs, but not in a good way.

I don't mind the colour but the two tone and making the key look like a trophy looks really tacky.
