It's Sunday Funday. Thus it is poll day.
I was watching USC v.s Arizona State last night. The Sun Devils (great name) actually made it a game for awhile and had Caleb Williams on the ropes for a bit. I am making an effort to follow NCAA football a bit more this season.
What is your level of NCAA football interest this year?
High- Watch and follow closely0.0%
Medium- Watch big games only 33.3%
Low- I will wait for the bowls33.3%

Somewhere between medium and high for me. Follow a couple teams and watch some big games
reply
I would have been low previously but worked my way up to medium this season as I thought folks would be talking about college football on stacker sports but that hasn't been the case yet. Maybe I need to initiate with a post this week.

My only interest in college football is rooting against Notre Dame.
reply
Considering your propensity to hold grudges I will mark you down as High. Good news for you, Ohio State squeaked a win out against Notre Dame yesterday.
Is this hatred because of Rudy?
reply
You are very perceptive, SeƱor Ruby. My grudge predates Rudy, but that put me over the top. It began when I was a child. For some reason Notre Dame was adopted as New York City's college football team. Every Saturday the games were broadcast on local TV. I was more into college football as a kid. I liked Michigan and Oklahoma for some reason. Yet, I was stuck watching the Drinking Irish.

I never followed that closely but I always had a bit of an affinity for Michigan growing up. They weren't too far from Toronto, Wolverines was a cool nickname, they had an awesome stadium and the fab four in basketball. I also recall having an Arkansas razorbacks hat at some point and a UNLV Running Rebels shirt. Not sure why. I guess those teams were good at some point and someone gifted me the merch. I certainly didn't buy it. I did however buy a white sox hat when they rolled out the black and white theme Sox logo and the Sharks teal was all the rage when they came into the league so I had sharks jersey at one point.

I remember the Sharks frenzy. I think my Michigan thing was wrapped up in the Wolverine name too. My cousins lived in Columbus, Ohio. When I visited they were Buckeye crazy. I had to be contrary and root for Michigan, which caused fights. Huge rivalry there.
reply
I have only ever owned 2 hockey jerseys in my life. An Edmonton Oilers Messier jersey and a blank Sharks jersey. Go figure since I was a Leafs fan for most of my life until I finally kicked that bad habit a decade ago.

I'm glad this post is here... so we can talk about anything but the jags right now. They're going to end a bunch of people's survivor picks.
reply
for real, survivor pool just got decimated this week. i wonder how many rebuys we see. luckily it looks like the vikings are doing their best to cover mine
reply
The Vikings were the Vikings more than the chargers were the chargers despite the fact that the chargers tried to out viking the Vikings, whilst the Vikings tried to out charger the chargers. If you get what I'm saying.
reply
That was quite a game.
reply
An atomic bomb went off in the survivor pool today between the Jags and Cowboys. Not to mention I got smoked with the Ravens losing in OT. The re-buys are going to be chaos tomorrow. I think only 4 people won their game this week.
reply

reply
I'll pass on the CFB
