Believe me, it's no gimme. Week ones are tough. I'm just playing the odds. Texans could be a lot better this season than people think.
I think Ryans will do a good job with Texans but these teams are miles apart in terms of talent but I can't waste the Ravens in week 1. So I will be going in a different direction but I get it.

I have had the don't waste pick strategy before. I was thinking my way out of the pool. Now I employ the KISS strategy, which doesn't always work either.

My strategy is to optimize my pick until I need to utilize the re-buy. Once I am on my last life, I will go into survival mode.

Makes sense. I'm still playing as if there's no second buy in, like my other pool
reply
Are you picking the Ravens in your other pool?
reply
We have until Thursday morning to pick, but yes, I'm pretty sure I am
reply
Does your pool allow you to change picks up until the deadline?
I would prefer we didn't have a lot of changes but deadline is a deadline, if Lamar gets hurt tomorrow, you guys should be able to change your pick. So I am going to allow but hopefully people don't abuse it.

No pick changes regardless of last minute injuries
They'd have to make a huge leap and the Ravens take a huge step backward. With the addition of zay flowers I think the ravens are set. Even if OBJ is washed (I'm not convinced he is) they've got a wicked receiving core. I think Vegas knows what they're doing -10 is a solid indication Ravens are the one this week.
But also. Week 1s are never a gimme. Always madness. Things don't tend to settle til like week 3
