My take are that these are just an early stage label. When Bitcoin has spread to a similar size as the internet, there will be no bitcoiners or maxi's.

We'll move on to an age where there are "bitcoin enthusiasts" and "everyone else". Even things that are seemingly mundane always have enthusiast communities :)

Agree. It just shows how early we are right now! In the future there won't be companies who sole business model is promoting Bitcoin or taking donations to do Bitcoin related things. That would be like someone starting a business to promote USD; it just doesn't make sense. Eventually bitcoin will just become the unit of account that everyone uses and there won't be any more bitcoiners or maxi's.
