I recently tried to use an ATM for buying some SATS in Spain.
I found out the premium was more than 10% and didn't see any advantages over buying from an exchange.
Is some one using the BTC ATMs?
Disclaimer: I normally use lnp2p & robosats, but last week there where not many offers!

They won't make it out of this decade. They're expensive, have cameras, KYC, and I've never trusted them. I used one years ago and got a phone call from the operators an hour later, who were on a three-way call with my debit card issuer. That was the last time. There are far better ways.

Was stuck in Chicago during lockdowns, amount was $400 I believe. The bitcoin transaction didn't actually go through. No tx ID or anything. I thought it was a problem with the ATM and left. But the debit card apparently had a pre-auth hold, and the operator contacted the bank and they both called me to verify it. I said it was me, and Mr. Operator said ok, you're free to use the ATM now, and I probably would have gone back, until he asked that I text (yeah text) a photo of my ID. I started laughing. He was confused. I told the bank to remove the pre-auth hold, and to remove the other speaker from the line who was in mid-sentence proudly justifying his abusive KYC practices.

Yeah, it wasn't a DigitalMint one, it was an indie ATM network local to the Chicagoland area when I was there. Not sure what rules they had surrounding these at the time.

In Robosats you can see the offers and see if there is a payment method you like, if you don't like any, just publish your own offer.
In Spain, there are some methods were you can send a code and the seller goes to an ATM to withdraw the money. So no personal data is involved.
