People will always be irrational, that won't stop me from expressing my opinion. I do understand your message but would rather piss off a few to inform even one person that new trade offs exist when it comes to other people holding your bitcoin. If Users understand that a privacy preserving solution exists, they can better make decisions around those trade offs. Then the market can decide which custodial solutions "the best".
