It seems like b) should be dealt with in whatever way ties are dealt with. Is surviving winning or is it not losing? Also, if they finish the game at a later date, the eventual outcome can be applied retroactively.
I like the idea of some sort of tiebreaker for a), but getting to carry on another week doesn't seem fair. Other people might have also only gotten one pick wrong, but it happened to occur earlier. What about using point differential as the decider?
I like the point differential idea but quite honestly I would prefer to just keep track of who won and who didn't and ensure they aren't reusing picks rather than points as well. Just makes it a bit easier for me.
I like the idea of carrying on until there is a winner if we end in a tie. There is a re-buy up until week 9 so hopefully that gives some folks who were out early a fair opportunity.
I don't expect everything to run smoothly. I just hope it works out to be fair and then after it ends we can figure out how to make it better next time.

I didn't mean that you should be keeping track of point differentials all season. I was thinking of just checking the scores from the week when the last survivors were eliminated.

Oh gotcha. I like that. Let's see what @siggy47 thinks.
Tiebreaker goes to following week or tiebreaker is point differential the week the remaining participants get eliminated?
reply
That works. Sure.
