Our pool allows picks until Thursday kickoff. You can choose to do whatever you want deadline wise, but I think you need to include Thursday game.
Do you like the idea of a Friday deadline but if you want to choose a team for thursday you need to be in by Thursday at 6pm est or something similar?
Mostly doing this for selfish reasons so I can use Saturday to manage the picks for the week. Haha.
