Now that the yard electrician is gone I am the only electrician on staff, so people are already calling upon me to do land electrical work. I'll do what I can but eventually it'll reach a point where I'm not qualified to do something and hopefully they have another yard electrician by then.
The best experiments are easy to run and don't require us to 'improve' anything. The point is to figure out if it's worth improving things ... so we run them with features we have as-is.

Not really today, but over the weekend, I was at my son's football tournament and got talking about investments to a fellow parent. Of course, had to drop bitcoin in there and ended up explaining a whole lot about the blockchain, lightning network, halving, mining, energy consumption, deflation/inflation and finally got asked where he could get some :). I guess, you could call it a very successful orange pilling seed planted. Keep on rocking guys. One normie at at time.
Most people think of bitcoin in one bag with cryptocurrencies. They view it is an enrgy hog, it is virtual, so no real value, it is for techies, hackers and scammers. Plus they do not realize you do not need to buy an entire bitcoin and that you can actually use it and pay for stuff with it. That is where it ends. Hard hill to climb :)

I questioned whether a meeting required my presence. They decided, on reflection, it didn’t.
Spend so much time talking about what we can do that it actually stops us getting on with the work.
I would much rather we went away in smaller groups, generated ideas and then presented them at the meeting or via an email than having a brainstorming/shouting/sulking session where everyone seems to be taking notes trying to impress each other and avoiding any sort of implementation and change as a result.
