I love seeing nostr get used like this. This seems much more likely to succeed than relying on a payjoin-specific service being run.

Same, I'm into it. I had not thought of #Nostr being used as a messaging bus before. I guess #Bitcoin enables much more generalized internet primitives...

I hadn't been thinking about nostr like this either at first.
A nostr relay is a generic store-and-[text]-stream service. The social media use case seems to be incentivizing people run them but these other use cases are super interesting.

I wish more people could see the potential of those other use-cases.
Imagine how many applications would exist now, if only they didn't have to spend billions of dollars per year on servers and staff. Uber costs $10 billion and has 32k+ employees. Meanwhile, Bullrun was made by a few programmers in their spare time, and it uses Nostr as it's backend. Imagine how many Nostr apps don't exist now, because most of the focus on social media.

This is how both Bitcoin and Nostr will win.
