Many Stackers are earning sats on Stacker News not just from tips for their posts and replies, but also from the daily earnings / yield.
Some of you might be willing to donate some of their earnings to a worthy cause. If this is you, see the replies to this post for projects and people who are asking to be the recipient for your donation. To donate, simply tip their reply (long press the Lightning symbol to be prompted for an amount to tip), and they will receive 100% of that amount.
Every Stacker News user has a Lightning Address, so you can instead donate to their wallet on SN using a wallet that can send to a Lightning Address. The person requesting the donation may specify an alternate donation target -- where a Lighting Address can be found (e.g., such as the Value 4 Value methods recommended by Alby appearing in a Twitter profile, Github profile, or Youtube video), or perhaps there will be a link to a site running BTCPay Server or some other method that will generate an LN invoice (which you could then pay from your wallet on SN).
Stacker News has no moderation, so do your own due diligence, and don't trust that a Stacker News username is who you think it is based simply on their username. For instance, some scammer could register the @RedCross nym here on SN and then appeal for your donation as them.

Donate to Bitcoin Jungle:
The project was just featured in Bitcoin Magazine. I don't see a username for them here on SN, but their Twitter account @BitcoinJungleCR shows their Lightning Address for donations. If you haven't tried Alby's browser extension, donating some of your earned sats to Bitcoin Jungle using that would be a great reason to give it a try! After Alby is installed, you can use it to generate an LN invoice. And after paying that invoice, from there you just navigate to @BitcoinJungleCR and the tip method will appear, as shown in this example

The project was recently featured in Coin Telegraph. I don't see a username for them here on SN, but their website has a link to their crowdfunding page on Tallycoin, and supports donation via Lightning Network ⚡.
