Sats cards are on-chain. It should have all of the security of the bitcoin network in that sense, the question is more of physical security. You essentially hand them over as a form of cash, the premise being that accessing the private key in any way physically changes the chip.

I have seen those warnings about LN, which on somewhat confused by because it's been around for like 5 years at this point.. When will it be declared production ready?
