Wouldn't it be nice if Nostr had a cool logo? Here is one!

How about a logo for Nostr? Everyone can contribute to the Nostr ecosystem and create the visuals they like. And I love that!

However, I believe having a recognizable logo could be beneficial for the Nostr community as a whole!

With this idea in mind, I asked designer Andrea Nicolini, aka Bembureda, to create a logo and an icon for Nostr. I think he did an amazing job! Don’t you think so?

I love it.

If it was up to me, I would consider two small details:

Make the horizontal crossbar of character 't' aligned with the top line of the other characters.
Reduce very slightly the weight (thickness) of letters 's', 't' and 'r' so that it matches that of 'n' and 'o'. Or maybe consider instead reducing a little bit the size of the egg inside the 'o'.

Also, do you have any plans on releasing an SVG version of the logo and icon? And increasing the resolution of the image files? It looks blurry on a hi-dpi display.

But please don't get me wrong: I love the logo as it is. It looks both playful and elegant, simple and to the point. Having a recognizable brand is very important and Nostr was lacking this, till now. Thanks to you and the designer for making this and licensing it without restrictions.

That's a really cool logo design! I agree, it would be nice if Nostr had a visually appealing logo to represent the brand. It adds a touch of professionalism and helps create a memorable image. Great job on creating that logo!
