I've noticed my attention span has reduced over the last 10 years or so and I don't like it.
Seems to be a trend everywhere though, you only have a few seconds to say something to anyone, after that people lose interest and move on.
I noticed the same. Reading books seems to help :)

Same here. Even while socializing I want my friends to get to the point quicker. I used to love rambling bs sessions.

Yes, sadly this is an affliction that affects us all. Consequence of mobile. I think a lot of the mental health issues people are suffering from these days comes from the constant need for dopamine hits. Moving out of the city has helped me with this and I try to use my laptop for reading news and surfing the net. Still use my iphone too much but try my best to limit unnecessary use. It's a great tool, if you use it that way. I like to tell my 12 year old in regards to devices, one of you will be the master and one will be the slave, you just need to decide which you want to be.
