Uruguay in South America is my base now. Food and general cost of living not all too dissimilar but more importantly the people are far more chill and far less preoccupied with virtue signalling. In general, I would avoid any countries in the so-called ‘West’ as a potential destination.

Much cheaper alternatives in the S.A. region, but something to be said for stable politics, abundant energy and productive agriculture. Starting to see more companies expanding operations here. Wouldn’t surprise me if Uruguay goes from 3.5m to 7m people this decade. More than enough space & resources to accommodate that and more. Probably one of the only countries in the world where people from both parties still collaborate and plan for decades ahead.

Don’t think you’ll go wrong with any country in South or Central America this decade personally. Lovely people, driven, hard working, resource rich & productive. Can appreciate its a big lifestyle shift for many, perhaps too big, but being a young male, needs must!

Here I feel 3-4x more productive than I was in the U.K, constantly second-guessing what ‘crisis’ they will amplify next. Priceless is peace, for the mind.
