Just seeing Meta and the term "decentralized" in the same sentence made me think it was April 1st...
Meta just wants to ride the wave of decentralization, but in the end, no doubt Mark Zuckerberg's only interest is to centralize everything he can to generate more and more profits from his users' data.

I totally agree with you.
Meta (and other bigtech) will just copy-cat this trend with their own terms&conditions to exploit their users even more.
