Good point! but I soild channels to crappy nodes in the past and I can’t push liquidity out.
The node could be private indeed but I panicked!!
Indeed I set the price extremely cheap to spur demand
Your generosity knows no equal, you know that. However, I'd like to argue that not getting liquidity from you is better than getting liquidity from you that you then cancel. Reliability trumps everything.
Do you have a way to guide your customers a bit in this? Some kind of note attached to your offer?
I don’t! why I feel terrible canceling the order today. Normally I just go with the orders but today the node profile on amboss gave me pause.
But you are correct! I shouldn’t do such things especially after buyers pay.
But the offer been up for so long I was shocked someone even wanted to purchase liquidity from me.
hmm - private channel or announced? Because if something "looks" dead on amboss it can just mean it only does private?
I just had a 15M sats capacity private channel closed on me by my counterparty last weekend (started as full outbound, i didn't pay liquidity rent other than agreed fees and what I found to be an abhorrent reserve lockup.) Perhaps they needed the sats haha. But still I hate it when this happens.
